- SMS allowances are credits. A message segment to a US or Canadian number uses 1 credit; other countries use 2 or 3 credits per segment. The two pools are separate.
- WhatsApp has its own monthly allowance. Once it is used, WhatsApp draws on your SMS credit packs.
- On Free, the 3 SMS and 3 voice calls are test sends: US numbers only, and a verified email address is required.
- On yearly billing, surveys, responses, emails, API calls and spoken-answer minutes are pooled for the whole year (12 times the monthly figure). SMS, WhatsApp, voice calls and workflow runs reset every calendar month.
- Workflow automation is included from Free.
- During the 7-day trial, SMS is capped at 50 credits, WhatsApp at 25 messages and voice at 10 calls, and international SMS is off.

How long do credits last?
Usage packs (responses, surveys, email, SMS, voice, API calls, workflow runs and AI credits) are used once your plan allowance runs out. They stay valid until the end of your current billing period: the month on monthly billing, the year on yearly billing, or the calendar month on the Free plan. Unused credits then expire.
Storage and team-member packs are one-time purchases that don't expire.
What happens when you hit a limit?
- We email you when you have used 80% and 100% of your monthly responses.
- New responses pause and respondents see a short "temporarily at capacity" message. Nothing you collected is deleted.
- There are no automatic overage charges. Buy a credit pack and collection resumes at once, or upgrade your plan.
- Your allowance starts again at the beginning of the next billing period.
One-time card payments, prices in USD. SMS packs top up sending to US and Canadian numbers. SMS and voice credits need a plan that includes that channel.

How much does Claform cost?
There is a Free plan at $0 with no card needed. Paid plans are Starter at $25, Professional at $55 and Business at $149 a month on monthly billing. Yearly billing costs 10 months' price for 12 months: $250, $550 and $1,490 a year. Enterprise is priced per contract.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 3 surveys and 100 responses a month across your account, with no card and no time limit. Paid plans add more volume, channels, logic, integrations and AI.
What happens if I go over my plan's limits?
We email you at 80% and 100% of your monthly responses. When an allowance runs out, new responses (or sends on that channel) pause; nothing you collected is deleted. Buy a credit pack to continue at once, upgrade, or wait for the next billing period.
Will I get a surprise overage bill?
No. Claform never charges overages automatically. You only pay for extra volume when you choose to buy a credit pack or move to a bigger plan.
How long do credit packs last?
Usage packs stay valid until the end of your current billing period (the month on monthly billing, the year on yearly billing, the calendar month on the Free plan) and are used only after your plan allowance runs out. Is there a free trial?
Yes, a 7-day free trial on Professional. You add a card to start and you are not charged until the trial ends; cancel before then from Settings, Billing. During the trial, SMS, WhatsApp and voice have smaller caps and international SMS is off. The Free plan needs no card and has no time limit.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
Yes, from Settings, Billing. Upgrades apply at once and you pay the prorated difference that day. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have paid for, so you keep your plan until then.
How does yearly billing work?
You pay for 12 months up front at the price of 10. Surveys, responses, emails and API calls are pooled for the whole year; SMS, WhatsApp, voice calls and workflow runs reset each calendar month. You choose monthly or yearly billing at checkout.
Do you offer refunds?
Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires it, as our Terms of Service say. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us.
Do I keep my data if I downgrade or cancel?
Downgrading doesn't delete your surveys or responses; features above your new plan stop being available. You can export at any time: CSV on every plan, Excel from Starter, PDF from Professional and SPSS from Business. If you close your account, you can ask for an export within 30 days.
How do I pay, and do I get invoices?
By card, processed by Stripe. Every payment has an invoice you can download in Settings, Billing, where you can also add your company name, address and tax ID. If tax applies to your purchase, it is shown at checkout and on the invoice. Enterprise contracts can be invoiced.
Do you offer discounts?
Yearly billing gives you 12 months for the price of 10. We sometimes run promo codes, which you can apply on this page or at checkout. We don't publish a nonprofit or education discount.
What does "Approval" mean in the table?
A few sensitive features are switched on by our team after a short review, for compliance and data-privacy reasons. Contact sales to enable them.
